Located at the base of the GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS, TOCCOA, GA. is home to FOOTHILLS AVIATION / ACE AIRCRAFT CO. The second of two FBOs at the R.G. LeTourneau Airport, (KTOC), our facilities are located near the end of Runway 27 in the Historic R.G. LeTourneau Hanger (built 1936). Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00PM Monday through Saturday. Local attractions include "Camp Toccoa" of the T.V. Mini series "Band of Brothers", Tallulah Falls where the movie "Deliverance" was filmed, the 186 foot "Toccoa Falls" located on campus at Toccoa Falls College, and "Currahee Mountain", just to name a few. The R.G. LeTourneau Hanger itself was used in the movie "Grizzly"! Numerous lakes with flat land to the South and the Great Smokey Mountains to the North, the Toccoa area is also home to numerous Convention Centers and Camp grounds, all within easy driving distance. (Rental cars available) These include Cherokee N.C., Atlanta GA. and Greenville S.C.
